The World Cup winner has been offered a near £290k-per-week deal
Chelsea have reportedly offered N’Golo Kante a new contract worth almost £290,000-per-week.
The deal would see France’s World Cup winning midfielder become the highest paid player at Stamford Bridge.
Kante has been a revelation since arriving in English football
According to the Times, the Blues are acting in order to deter interest from French champions PSG, who have been strongly linked with a move for the 27-year-old.
Kante has not asked to leave the club and Chelsea are understood to have no intentions of letting him leave regardless.
