Pre-season can be a great opportunity to regain some much-needed confidence after a disappointing season.
So when Chelsea were awarded a penalty against Arsenal in Dublin, Alvaro Morata immediately volunteered to take it.
Morata couldn’t convert from the spot
Petr Cech saved.
From that point onwards, the Spaniard resembled every bit of the man who couldn’t finish even the simplest of chances last season.
As you can imagine, Blues fans, whose side are currently 1-0 up against the Gunners, were less than impressed:
