Jose Mourinho is set to be reunited with the Brazil winger, 29, if Italian reports are to be believed
Manchester United have had a £66million bid for Chelsea star Willian accepted, according to Tuttosport.
The Red Devils have long-held interest in the Brazil winger, who would be reunited with former Blues boss Jose Mourinho if he completed the transfer.
Willian, 29, has spent five seasons at Stamford Bridge, choosing to join the west London club ahead of Tottenham in 2013.
But, despite the winger’s obvious talent, he has spent the majority of the last two campaigns on the bench.
And Mourinho, who is a huge fan of the player, is ready to hand him regular firs-team opportunities at Old Trafford.
Reports in Italy say there are several add-ons and clauses in the deal, while also suggesting United are keeping tabs on Chelsea centre-back Gary Cahill should they fail to sign Toby Alderweireld, Harry Maguire, or Yerry Mina.
It wouldn’t be the first time Manchester United have raided Chelsea with the club landing Juan Mata and Nemanja Matic from the Blues in recent seasons.
