Gunners supporters demand the club announce the signing of Uruguay star Lucas Torreira
Arsenal supporters are getting very excited after one top transfer target put in an excellent display for Uruguay in their 3-0 win over hosts Russia at World Cup 2018.
Uruguay midfielder Lucas Torreira starred against Russia in a 3-0 victory.
But over in Russia, Torreira didn’t start both of his nation’s first two games, making Arsenal fans sweat on the ability of their potential new signing.
Torreira, though, who mixes skill and technique with a tenacious attitude, dispelled the worries in the Group A victory with an outstanding performance at the base of Uruguay’s midfield, only misplacing five passes all game, while also making three interceptions.

Torreira looks absolute quality, he’s suffocating the Russian attack which is allowing the Uruguay full backs to push on, we have needed someone like this for ages.
